Finally I have some photos of new work.

I took the opportunity of using Monday’s MLK holiday to set up the light tent and take photos of the last few sets of Polymer Clay Pendants that I’ve made. They are in 3 different colorways.

One of the techniques I use is “Mokume Gane”. I make a stack of 4 or 5 different contrasting layers of colored clay about 2 inches high and 2 inches wide and 4 inches long. I use different tools to make impressions in the clay. I then make thin slices though the length of the clay. With each slice different colors show making different patterns appear.

Another technique I used was “Millefiori”.

  1. Dear Brother,

Your work is beautiful! I particularly like the true red pieces. Are they similar in size to the photos?

How are you anyway? Hope for an update and an opportunity to break bread.

    God bless,

    Ann
